Reunion Recap...
What a funtastic and generally excellent time was had at our Golden Anniversary Reunion. What a weekend!!! The pictures below certainly attest to that ~ don’t you think?
Many of you have commented on how great it was to “Gather” and socialize, to reconnect on Friday night and then tour our old stomping grounds on Saturday morning. A few even older Jungaleers were able to join the fun on Fairview Avenue ~ how superb was that?!
The Dinner-Dance on Saturday evening at the wonderful Kilgour Scottish Centre (note spelling) was almost like prom, a truly senior prom! Who would believe that at least some of us could still move like that on the dance-floor! Well ~ we’re Jungaleers and that’s what we do! Sunday morning brought more fun, and goodbyes, as we shared breakfast at the Quality Inn, our official reunion hotel. Such marvelous hosts they were too ~ helping us begin and end our Golden weekend in style!
If you have a few favorite snapshots of our Reunion Weekend, (especially those taken at the breakfast) and would like them added to our Reunion Photo Gallery, please give Pete Coutsos a call at (586) 781-9880.
With your additions to the Weekend Photo Gallery we will have an accurate ~ and fun ~ chronicle of our Fabulous Funtastic 50th Reunion Weekend Festivities!!!
Many thanks,
The Website Committee

S.E. 50th CLASS REUNION TOAST
Written & Presented by Darrel Morley
First of all I would like to thank the men and women serving in our armed forces who make it possible for us to enjoy the freedom and safety to have an event like this.
I would also like to thank the reunion committee for their hard work and effort putting this event on.
I would also like to thank my wife, Melodie, for putting up with my many hours on the computer when she also needed to be on it. Thanks Melodie.
Reunions are much like fine wine:
The 10th, a Beaujolais Nouveau, young, Eager, a future.
The 30th, a fine Merlot or Cabernet, complex, families, college, careers.
And now, the 50th, an aged tawny port, rich in experience and memories, wanting to be shared and enjoyed.
So raise your glass with me and toast the spirit of the Purple and White. May this evening be full of memories that will last till next we gather. We are---- Jungalers forever!
